IGSTIN Application

An IGSTIN code or a International Goods and Service Tax Identification Number (IGSTIN) is a unique alphanumeric, 24 characters in length identification code tied to a single company or corporate body-entity. Dissimilar from local codes that define the non-financial securities of an issuer, such as NFSIN code identify the non financial securities of the company or issuer, not the company or issuer itself), the IGSTIN has been specifically designed to identify a corporation.

Unlike the NFSIN non-security code or a CUSIP number security code, and many others identify at non-financial securities, a IGSTIN has been specifically designed to identify a corporate entity with tax identification number. The IGSTIN is 24 characters in length.

NFSIN by Westernclear, is an independent service provider for the global non-financial securities instruments market and is proudly not affiliated with any banks, governments or financial associations or institutions.

The NFSIN Process

There is a difference between a security and a financial instrument. Not all financial instruments are securities, but all securities are financial instruments. Primarily, the securities (instruments) are designed to be traded on the secondary markets (creation of exchange).

However, a non-security is an alternative investment that is not traded on a public exchange as stocks and bonds are. Assets such as art, rare coins, life insurance, gold, and diamonds all are non-securities. Non-securities by definition are not liquid assets.

The NFSIN identifies a non-financial security. An NFSIN should not be confused with ISIN or a ticker symbol which identifies the stock at the exchange level.
